modifying bar ends

Anyone local that can turn down a set of aluminum bar ends from 32mm to 28mm? I can probably get it done with a drill and bench grinder, but I'd rather have a local machine shop do it, as long as cost doesnt go too high, and turn-around is fairly quick. I don't need to maintain the high polish finish - I'll be painting or powdercoating them black anyway.

These are the ones I'm reffering to:

Thanks, but I'm not looking to shorten or remove the bar ends - I need a smaller diameter end to mount a clamp-on bar end style mirror that will only accept up to a 30mm bar. So far, the pictured 32mm bar ends are the smallest diameter I've found that will fit my ZRX.

My stock mirrors have been altered nicely (recently lowered) for a better low profile look, but I've found a sweet set of aftermarket mirrors that are must haves, and they defintely wont work with my current 35mm spike bar ends.

I can do it very easily.
Just screw in a bolt, chuck the bolt in a lathe, spin that booger on up and take it down.
I live in Friendswood, work in channelview.
and I'll do it for free

Bar ends came in today. I double checked them with my calipers and instead of 32mm as advertised, they are actually 30.45mm. The Rizoma mirrors I have coming are supposed to work with 22-30mm bars, but with my bar ends less that 1/2 a mm out, I'm going to wait and see if I can get them to work as is. Scooter T, I may holler at you next week if I need the bar ends turned down afterall. Either way, thanks for the offer.
