Roof V8 Helmet opinions

What do yall think of the ROOF V8 Helmet? I want opinions. It's double CE certified and is made in Italy. It is not DOT approved here in the state. It does match my bike but safety is a biggest factor. This is not DOT or SNELL certified.

ECE certified is pretty solid. I don't think there is a single modular helmet with snell certification either, so don't let that hold you back. I remember reading that it was loud to a fault though.

Actually studies have been done that show that the Snell certification may be to stringent and causes mfr's to have to make the helmets too stiff. That means the outer shell won't absorb as much energy, ultimately leading to more energy being transmitted to the head.
The CE certification is good enough for German's it would be good enough for me but I think the helmet is a little too Power Rangery for my taste.
Maybe in a more muted paint scheme it wouldn't jump out so much, IMHO.

Snell has a good testing methodology, but it isn't the final word on safety. The European ECE standard is very effective also. Of course having both is the best. If you want modular though, you have to do without snell.

It goes well with the power ranger aesthetic most protective gear adopts.
