Talking Just installed a 139dB air horn

... this thing is LOUD!!!

http://ridesafer.com/store/item/1a82..._Air_Horn.html

It wouldn't fit between the fork tubes hanging off the stock horn mount so I had to make a little mounting bracket and put it up underneath the battery.

It draws ~12-15 amps so you have to wire it up directly to the battery with a separate relay that comes with it. The wiring kit leaves a little to be desired... I ended up having to buy a pack of blade connectors to do it all without soldering and it would have been a HUGE pita to install without the factory service manual showing the color codes for the wires coming out of the fuse box... but man... I can't wait to use it the next time some dumbass comes barreling into my lane during rush hour... it's so loud it actually causes a physical sensation in my ears... :icon_bigg

Here's a pic of it halfway through the installation... I put shorter bolts on it and reversed them so it doesn't have ghetto frankenstein bolts sticking out everywhere like in the pic here...
