The post race interview/mini-conference with Nicky was great! So many microphones stuck in his face and everyone hanging on his every word. Then some doofus italian speaking reporter starts talking way too loud and guys are telling him to shutup 'cuz they couldn't hear Nicky. Is it me, or did it sound like somebody start pummeling that reporter?! :laughing6

Nicky's voice always cracks with nerves during the interview, but this time it cracked a few extra times with anger and tears ready to flow. Much respect to the guy. Applause from all the reporters was cool.

i know my view is a fuked up view, but i truely feel that pedrosa did that on purpose. pedrosa, and no hayden should not know what rossi felt like earlier this year because his own teamate didnt take him out. pedrosa is a . hayden wouldve finished on podium for sure if that wouldnt have happened. but it, coulda shoulda woulda. but pedrosa was wrong for doing that, he knew the championship was out of his reach and he didnt give a . he knew he couldnt make that pass, that was a fuked up way to overtake somebody especially his teamate. thats very bad.

WTF...

(Dani thinking to himself) Hmmm... well, he IS beating me in the championship and I do love Rossi, so to get back at Nicky I'll make sure to take him out while hoping that neither of us get seriously injured and making sure that our $2,000,000 RC211V's don't get a scratch in the process!

BRILLIANT!

lol +1

Rossi has called out Pedrosa on a few occasions. The last one being something about the boy having no passing skills.

But Rossi said: "The problem with Pedrosa, at this moment, is that he is not able to overtake.

MotoGP racers are on teams but its every man for himself. its a race and not a trackday. when you race, anything goes and moves have to be made when you see a opening becasue they wont always be there. unfortuantely it cost another rider the race and points.

now if its Nascar or F1 i would see where a "teamate" would block or allow the other to pass. its not like Pedrosa isnt/wasnt in the chase for the championship and purposely crashed. i think thats just dumb to assume he would take out hayden.

yes racing is racing..........but in the grand scheme of things getting your teamate on the podium is above your own wants in a series like this........ASIMO fuked up and i wouldn;t be suprised if for some reason he can't race next race........plain stupid. he was nowhere near contention for the title.....shoulda stayed back.

The lap before I was telling my lady that if Pedrosa was any kind of team mate he'd do like Edwards was doing and block for his team mate. Instead he takes him out. Lost in translation? No team orders was the big screw up, should have been some sort of direction for young Pedrosa who was a LLOOONNNNGGGGGGGG shot for the championship. I would be willing to bet the Pedrosa is very helpful to Nicky next week!!!! He better or face the wrath of fans everywhere.

I don't care what anyone says, Dani WAS trying to pass, didn't have room, and took Nicky out, it was that simple. This was not one of "those racing things", it was just plain STUPID given all that was at stake. And this was not like Rossi being taken out at the start of the year in a first corner entanglement. This was avoidable and should NEVER have happenned. Dani has no excuse.

Here is an article/interview.
