was your 09 made in early 09? It looks like it has the old blinkers, just like deadfred's. Mine are more pointed.

Bike was previously dropped both sides. The blinkers aren't 09 stock...they're ugly 06-08.

I am doing my best to get 09+ stock or some flush mounts.

I just don't typically like flush mounts since they are pretty useless.

Britishcustoms.com You can get a pair of nice looking flush mounts for the price of one new blinker from triumph. I've seen them, and they seem pretty bright.

also, never, ever, use that killswitch. From what patrick has told me and everything I've read, on the daytonas, stay away from that killswitch, it tends to screw things up. If you have any random questions about the bike, let me know. What tires are you running? I've run several different brands and types, the Pirellis feel the best though, I'm told because of the flexable chasis. My last set of Rossos lasted 8k!

Wow. I am currently running the supercorsas.

As for the killswitch, I know that applies to the 1st gen 06-08... but I don't think it is an issue with 09+

yeah, the stock tires only lasted me 2k, but they were sticky. Could be that the 09's don't have the issue, or haven't yet, I'm just paranoid.

Also, now that I think about it, keep an eye on the oil cover nuts, and the bolts for the subframe under the seat, they've vibrated a little loose on mine before. Have you had Motorcycles Unlimited set the suspension yet? It made a WORLD of difference for me.

oh yeah, lol...one more thing. Last time I was at the dealer they changed part of my shift linkage for an open recall. Go to triumphusa.com and check your VIN.

I will get the suspension done at the track, and I'll check the vin now.

Yeah the bolts for the sub frame have already been dealt with.

Thanks for all the info.

no problem! If you need a manual, I may have the PDF somewhere, or you can find it pretty easily.
