check out the enclave crescent park village....brand new townhomes...$99k, $110/mo assoc. fee.

if my parents gimme a nice christmas present, i might be able to afford these townhouses, but i'm not gonna ask them, and i'm not gonna buy a place i cant afford....but these are really nice. i wish there were more like this.

the N houston area has tons of new townhomes in the 80's...but its too far from my territory.
this area is much better than what you were talkin about earlier. I used to live near there and believe me its like night and day when compared to beechnut and the belt.

nice

I guess KB went up on their prices. When I got my house 3 yrs ago, for roughly the price of the Columbus, i got 300 more sq feet plus upgrades.

the townhomes may be nice but the area isnt. find somewhere closer to richmond or north of that on the beltway by the westchase area.

KB Homes are definitely not the nicest IMO. I work for an engineering firm (particularly land development) that does a lot of work with different builders/developers. Although the development (individual lots) is often sold to independent home builders, I have heard that KB is the one of the cheapest on the block. As far as where you are looking, I don't know the neighborhood. Good luck on your purchase.
