Question first cbr

hey all im new to the post thing mostly anand on guy im a car mechanic by trade this is first bike got it on trade for two 12s and a amp stuff bu i have a problem i have put new forks new trees and new wheel and rotors its still apart and cant get temp needle to move it pegged even with bike off plz help dont know where to start thank you all
