stock steering damper

ok, so im accelerating from a stop.. i give a little gas to wake myself up this morning and my wheel starts to wobble from side to side, so I let off to avoid busting my . I figured tire pressure but I was also thinking maybe the stock steering damper is taking a dump on me.. 08 cbr fireblade.. any advice?
tire pressure was at 30psi.
