I hear you about riding responsibly and I was not saying you don't. Just that the few roads that are a little twisty around here, have pretty open curves which means you usually have to carry some speed to get a decent lean going.
At those speeds/lean angles it doesn't take much to have the front washout, etc. A tar snake or a little sand, gravel or even hay and here comes the ditch.
Gear up, be careful and have fun but consider trackdays too. Full leathers are OK there, all the traffic is in the same direction and with the same mindset, AND they have an ambulance on site, just in case.

Suggesting going to a track is sound advice. He can work on what he wants, in a safe envirionment, with experienced assistance, if he wants.
There are few if any roads around this area where you can get serious about cornering without exceeding the speed limit. We all know that some of the people who live along these roads are sick of people haulin' up and down in front of their houses. They are sick of the road being blocked while emergency crews scrape people off the side of the road while they are going to church.
If suggesting a trackday makes me a douche, then so be it. I'm a douche.

What you don't see or don't care about, is the increasing pressure to stop sportbike riders from hurting themselves or someone else. And trust me when the pressure gets high enough they WILL stop it.
So get on out there and show 'em what you got.

If the tires are decent. Its not leaking anything, and the oil has been changed recently. Then tape up the lights, pull the fuses, and hit it.

Dont blame us if you raise it back up afterwards, and start buying better tires so you can go faster

You got a problem take it somewhere else.

I actually did raise it to stock height about 4 months ago, I also put some aftermarket pipes on it, stock chain/sprockets, breaks and now I need frame sliders(though I've been told that they are useless on a Busa).

What am I supposed to think?

Do you have a chemical imbalance?

Are you arguing that I dont agree with you?

Josue, come ride with us tomorrow morning.
We're coming from Katy but we'll stop at the Shell on 290 and 362 at about 9am for a quick break and refuel.

Pace will be decided by slowest rider so come on out whatever your experience is

I will do my best to be there, I feel pretty experienced; we'll see though. It's not the same riding straight for 10+ years and not emphasising much on "track-like riding", so I hope I can hang.

Sorry Helios, I just checked and I have a 10 o'clock meeting. How often does this ride happen? Count me in for the next one. A PM would be greatly appreciated

100000 miles of experience and you haven't figured out how to corner yet? I must be missing something. Take it to the track! After you run a trackday you'll wonder why it took you so long to try it out.

I'm starting some rides up in the Cypress areas on Wednesday's before our Katy M&G. You could check the boards and ride with us if you like. I can show you some back roads in your area.

We also ride a normal pace for the most part. You should be fine.
