back to bobbin out the yamaha

I was going to bob out my virago a while back and never really got any where with it. so I got started again. so far I've converted the frame to rigid, made a seat pan out of diamond plate and relocated some electrical.

It looks cool, but I imagine you could rent that out to the CIA for "enhanced interrogations."

Lookin good man keep it up

If you want to go with the official definition of a bobber then drag bars are the way to go - apes are considered a chopper thing

Either way go with what you like - fk what anyone calls it.

Keep posting the pix!

looks good . keep us posted on the progress. i think apes are way old school but drag bars would give it that serious attitude look. go with the drag bars . imo

well I was about half way through the build. got the wiring straightened out. (got rid of the turn signals, dash, all the that isn't needed) got a springer seat put on, new rubber, 18" apes, (which by the way on that bike were REALLY tall). then a guy came in and through a wad of cash at me and bought the bike. he's still gonna pay me to finish the build so I will continue to post pics

it's obviously not about comfort. it simply looks cool and makes a fun little bar hopper. I like the old school "rat rod" look.
