Nice Sports Paniers

Found these nice sport paniers via WebBikeWorld.com. What I like about these bags is that they provide the support that full frame supported hard cases have but leave your bike it's normal sporty self when not in use.

Found on TwistedThrottle.com

I plan to get a set for a long trip I am taking in September. If you are interested in a group buy please PM me. I am trying to get one of our local shops setup as a dealer but they would need a minimal initial order. We would only need about 4 people buying to make that happen.

Just about $280. Until we put something together I have no idea if we can get it for less. I consider these to be for someone who wants a serious panier system but unwilling to go the more expensive route(and less attractive mounting) of the GIVI systems.

You can check the link below to see if there is an application for your make/model/year.

Quit bragging! I do like those hard cases that your Triumph came with. If I did more traveling I would probably spend the extra $$ for some nice hard cases.

I bought some nelson rigg saddlebags without support like this and they sag so much I don't even use them. I need to build something to keep them in place...

One of the guys on FZ1Forum.com fabricated his own set similar to the supports provided with this set. I will see if I can find a link to give you an idea.

I need this. I do a lot of road trips on my f4i. I have a soft tail bag but it sags and leans one way of the other.

Not enough interest for a group buy. I am placing my order for my FZ1 today. I will post some pics when they come in.

Well here is what they look like.

1st photo is of just the main bracket attached to my pillion pegs. That is as deformed as it will ever look. I like it much better than the gigantic Givi racks. 2nd photo is with the support attached to the bracket. 3rd is obvious. I have a large cortech duffle that will sit on the pillion seat and of course my solar powered tank bag from Nelson Rig.

My only complaint is that I wish the main pillion bolts were stainless. I may see if I can get some to replace what they supply.
