Hidden Falls Trip

Couple of us at work talking about maybe doing a weekend at Hidden Falls sometime in July. Any interest to put together a group for the weekend?

PROBABLY not on my end....got WAY too much on my calendar to leave for a weekend. Skip Hidden Falls and bring your coworkers to Cedar Creek!

Cedar Creek will likely be a great time for you and your buddies. July 16-17 is my only "out of town" moto trip that I will be allowed this month.

I could maybe swing July 9-10.

You ought to do HF one day and CTOR the next. Personally I prefer CTOR over HF, but they're both good and fun. Parts of CTOR can be very tough. But I like the challenge.

Chris, have you been to Hidden Falls? Like I said, I can't make it this month, but keep me informed on your next trip out there, or anywhere else.

And I think this is some info on CTOR

Here's a vid I shot at Hidden Falls:

Here's a vid I shot at CTOR, loop 1, one of the slower loops:

Loop 4, a bit of a less technical loop than loop1:

i might be able to squeeze some in on Saturday or Monday on the 426. The wife won't be too pleased if she sees me rolling out the "blue bike", though. She knows that I am worthless after I ride that thing.

I might try changing the rear shock spring out to my stock kx250f spring, and add my subtanks to the forks. But, I think the thing that beats me up most with that bike is the "dry weight" is 50 lbs heavier than my 250f, and it's much much taller.

But yes, I am down for some seat time, if I can get the hallpass.

Rio-surround?

Yeah, I need to verify with the boss, but I'm going to try to put in some seat time @ Rio on Monday.

Ive been there a few times, great trails, scenery and big enough to get lost in! Make sure you take the trails up to the radio tower on top of the hill, kickass cliff drops on the way back down! Be carefull and bring x-tra gas!
