Interesting...

Quote: Drinking and driving poses a great danger for Hispanics in Texas, where they make up over one third of the population.

I'd say it's not the Hispanics that are in danger, it's all the law abiding citizens who have to watch out for this trash on our streets.

FWIW, in Vegas Kid world, if you got in an accident under the influence, I'd take you car and sell it to help pay for any damages you may have caused. You'd also be in jail for a very long time...

I was trying to find the south park clip of Mr Garrison asking if they can get rid of all the Mexicans, but I couldn't find it on youtube.

I don't think that's what he said.

He said he doesn't think Latinos can drive at all, especially when drunk. That doesn't mean others aren't drunk as well.

I'm personally afraid of female, Asian senior citizens. Triple whammy of bad...

Greatest danger on the road the drunken latino?

Quote: *** * 36% of all DUI fatalities in Texas in 2009 occurred in crashes where a Hispanic driver was under the influence of alcohol. (TxDOT, CRIS)

I'm glad I don't have to worry about the other 64%.

They seem to get away with it. If they are illegal its even easier. I know first hand on an incident where a guy was let go after a hit n run accident. They didnt want to bother since he was gonna go free anyway.

I'd go with TxDOT, not the story about the TxDOT press release
