Bought it from a guy that was mid to late 50ish. He didn't tell me that there was a previous offer or I would have backed out. I don't conduct business that way. My apologies if it was you.

No worries at all, and no apology necessary. I just want to mess with you little bit, I know you had no idea with a guy renegged with me.

Does this mean I can still pit by you? Or am I banished to the other side of the pits behind the porta-johns?

We are good, although you may need to give Tankmonkey a hug. He doesn't need it, I just think it would be funny to watch the expression on his face.

Back on topic, some freaking great looking bikes in this thread, I may need to post a pic of my old Steamer.

I wish I knew you when you had the steamer, that would have been sold and staying in the family. I can take care of the "man hug" on Tankmonkey-just hope he is secure in his manhood to handle it!

Here are the pics of the Steamer. 1995 model. From what I gather, a bit of a rare bird. I bought it for $1700, cleaned it up and serviced it, rode it a while, then sold it to a guy out of Alaska. He asked me to drop it off at Metric for some new dirt oriented tires, valve check, and then he flew in and it rode it to Big Bend. Nice guy. I completely broke even on that bike and enjoyed it while I had it.

Great bike, it was fairly large, and sounded like a Cummins Dodge. Lots of fun to ride and was suprisingly fast in the twistie stuff. Every now and then there seems to be a bunch show up for sale at once, then they dissappear for a while. I may get another one eventually, but I think I will try for a Ducati Elefant or Cagiva Gran Canyon if I go to that type of bike again.
