"Tail of the Dragon"

OK, so I know it's a LONG time off, but a couple of my friends and I were talking about getting together a Deal's Gap road trip sometime next spring. Just curious if anyone on the board would also be interested... I'm gonna start looking into hotel's, campsites, etc. and thought it'd be cool to have a large Houston group roll up there for an extended weekend trip. Still not sure if to take our time and ride up, or trailer 'em up and then ride. If anyone is at least curious about goin, let me know. Oh, and if you haven't seen a map of The Dragon, here ya go... :notworthy

When? Maybe I can work out my schedule to be off the same time.

might wanna consider a trip during the week. Less LEO's and less congestion. Not fun riding the dragon when 18 wheelers and cars are going into your lane. Just a suggestion.

There are lots of other super roads up there in addition to the gap. I'm always interested in going there - for me - trailer to/from the area.
