We will soon find out if they are bluffing. The U.S. has already warned them for like 3-4 times but they continue on developing nuclear weapons and missile tests. We should not talk but to come over there and kick some like in Iraq.

There is some question as to whether their "test" was actually nuclear. I've not yet heard if it's been confirmed.

Il is one crazy .

It is not nuclear yet, just long range enough to reach the other side of the earth. Now, that's done, all is left is put a nuclear head on it and send it to who ever.

Right. Even if it was a nuke, they don't have a missle to carry it anywhere. You can't just strap a nuke onto any ol bottle rocket and let it fly.

-Although China has agreed to sanctions, there is some question as to how proactive they will be in the actual implementation...they have vocalized their opposition to intercepting and searching cargo ships going into the Korean Peninsula (headed to North Korea of course)...

-They had a botched missle test, but the test from last week however, has been confirmed to have been nuclear, although it is assumed that the test did not go as well as the North Koreans would have liked...(Result: 200 tons rather than the 2 or three thousand ton explosions consistant with nuclear bombs) http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,...rld/northkorea

-For those of you whom are against addressing the North Korean nuclear issue...consider the implications of a rogue state (which has been known to distribute weapons to whomever offers the highest bid, including terrorists orgs) that possesses nuclear technology and the effects that something of this magnitude may have on our nation. A nuclear weapon in the hands of any rogue state would be severe, yet even more dangerous in the hands of a terrorist organization as they have no sense of accountability and cannot wholly face real reprimand due to the nature of their operations.

Micheal savage said it. and i agree with him most of the time. he said china is behind the scenes in bed with north Korea. they don't like the us either. sure in public they will denounce the tests and the whole lot but in reality they are quietly cheering on north Korea in farking with the united states. He also said Iran is more than likely watching this unfold and since we did nothing to north Korea then why not go ahead and go full steam ahead with their nuclear program.

and the bottom line is this: went after Saddam for thinking he had wmds yet we're shaking a finger at the countries that are openly attaining nuclear missiles and detonating them. go figure. whoopity doooooo when are the gop lock steppers going to wake up and see that somehting was fishy about this war in the first place. a army shoots at you from the east and you turn your mens guns t the west to go attack and invade.

I COMPLETELY AGREE. I'd say just look at their track record...

-Weak on Iranian sanctions while US pushed for strong

-Weak on Korean sanctions until the nuclear test took place and they were forced to play their hand

-I won't even begin to go into the ridiculous trade deficit between the US and China...not to mention Chinese monetary policies which hurt sales on US products

-Espionage by Chinese elements within the US and abroad

...among a long list of other things

I find this to be hilarious. First we were saying that if you were either with us or against us, yet we have confirmed that the Iranians have in the past and are currently supplying the insurgency in Iraq and we still look to the diplomatic approach...funny how the Bush administration seems to lack the hubris it illustrated early on...
