green thumbs?

anyone in here happen to have a green thumb? nice plants/cool flowers growing in your yard? got pics? i also have a tip on cheap "red mulch"---$25 per yard /scoop of a front end loader. the place is on underwood just north of spencer hwy in laporte. (you haul it for that price of course). i may post up a few of my plants if anyone is curious. we'll see.

i know....odd thread! but i've seen weirder ones.

My woman is into the outside kind.. she has some ferns that are dying, prolly too much water or/and sunlight if you have any tips, a few ivys' and some purple stuff.

I try, but Im not usually sucessful. Part of my trouble is that I have a container garden, so keeping them watered is a frequent chore. I live in a townhouse and don't have the luxury of planting much in the ground.

I'll look for some of my pics.

The "purple stuff" might be Megilla Perilla (but I call it Magilla Guerilla :icon_bigg ) - I have one and it's super easy to grow and keep alive.

Ok, so I decided to take the plants in. Well, the ones I could lift on my own, anyway. I have them in the kitchen to still attempt to get sunlight through the few weeks of winter we'll have.

The squirrel (Fluffernutter) and the turtle (Shrek) found a spot inside too!

Nice pond. Nice plants. I would like to start something like that in the back yard.
