I wish I had put aftermarket rods in the motor so I could hit it with more spray. I didn't want to pay another 900 on top of the 4400.

Puig double bubble dark smoke windscreen. Put it on for one ride, took it off and it's been hanging on the wall ever since (2-3 years). Recently put on a red motorcycle chain. The jury is still out on that one. Put on some Shogun frame sliders, took them right back off because I didn't like them. Replaced them with Vortex instead. All other mods that have been done I'm happy with.

You may have chain problems. Wearing teeth is one thing breaking several off is another

K&n filter and P commander. Rather spend the money on a sprocket kit.

Honda: I regret selling it! I liked all the mods

Ducati: I regret buying gilles tooling adjustable levers. Bought their top model and spent almost $400 for the set cause I wanted black and gold anodized. They looked great but were not comfortable in the least bit and very akward feeling.

Yeah, I got one, I wish the guy hadn't decided to try and wheelie it cause now almost every new person I meet is like "hey squid, how did you wreck your bike".

That and I wish that it had the stock exhaust instead of the monster GSXR1k pipe thats on there now. It wobbles on its supports and backfires whenever I engine brake which I (used to) do alot. It scares me, I don't like loud noises

As far as my own mods...I wish that I had kept the stock jet needles on the ninja500. These new ones make it run rich no matter what I do.

Picking the wrong sprocket ratio to make it "mo fast".
-1/+2 was horrible on mpg and I always felt in the wrong gear at certain speeds.

Acceleration was great, top end suffered horribly.

I regretted putting ASV levers on the RSV. Not that theyre not great levers, but on that particular bike they hit the fuse box that is attached to the side of the cluster at full steering lock.

However, now the bike is a track bike so it hardly matters.

I don't have regrets, per se, but having that Vapor instrument panel is a bit annoying. I don't have a resettable tachometer and I no longer have the gas-is-low indicator light. I have to remember to fill up at 190 miles no matter what (SV doesn't have a reserve), then reset the tach. I have no idea how many miles are even on the bike. My guess is over 30k.

Sometimes I don't love the SQUODDY that's carved into my vinyl seat - it's not sewn down and the letters flap - it's annoying.

I LOVE my M4 shorty exhaust, but I need a custom bent pipe, because it bends away from the bike toward the rear and looks awkward...

I guess it just needs more mods, really.

I wish the rider on my bike was a bit better upgraded.
Eats too much, hardly has time to ride, hasn't made it out to the track and, just recently, has started making some whiny noise.

Apparently due to the heat.

So funny. You're 100% accurate. Sad to say the bike has still been sitting in the garage, but I've stripped the body work, got a new battery and I'm going to put the stock levers and rear sets back on. The gilles are TERRIBLE for comfort

Dark smoke windscreen that isn't double bubble so during the day I have to duck a little to see the all of the guages.

Other than that I agree w/Helios
