First off, let me say that buying this product will actually help our economy. Given light to the fact that they are probably manufactured in China, we may soon find them available at Wal-Mart.

I don't see how they protect the tank though. If I were to actually apply it to my tank, I'd have to key my own bike... for however long it takes. If *properly* applied, I'd get a wobble in my rear tire and probably end up crashing the bike. Fortunately I might have my neighbors' dog droppings to cushion my landing, assuming I didn't run over all of them.

Maybe I could be safe and apply it to the middle of my seat?
