Good news and bad news. Good news is they got a color that's pretty close...close enough for a track bike.

Bad news is its TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS for 2 pints. FML.

Not sure what I'm going to do at this point...

Well...a couple weekends ago I went driving around to dealerships with my seat cowl in hand, trying to match colors. Found a few cars that were close, but the 2011 Nissan Juke was by far the closest. It looked like almost an exact match.

I took the whole bike there this week to compare. I think the car might be slightly darker than my bike, but it was really hard to get the lighting the same like I could with a small seat cowl. If you look at my bike near the right headlight where its right next to the car's bumper...that's the same light and its pretty much spot on...so we'll see. Close enough for a track bike. All it has to do is match the tank.

Best part is, I called the paint shop and its only $24/pint! Much better than $100/pint!!!

So I'm really excited to get started now.
