Although, I do fit that description at times.

FWIW, I have been known to let people ride my bikes...
you have an SXV

Nope. But, I have let lots of people ride my motards. I think Scoutguy was saying he knows me and was indicating I let people ride my tards at GSS. I think he missed that others were specifically talking about you and the SVX regarding allowing others to try yours out. So he said he knew a guy as well. I think he meant me. Then you added the descriptive part. So I had post a smart alek comment in jest.

Clear as mud?

I do enjoy an SVX a friend has on occassion, but I prefer my 450.

See you at GSS next tard day.

Yes it was Tojo I meant. Super nice guy that introduced me to the world of Tards. Once you try one you'll never go back. Already signed up for the 17th of July at GSS.

Thanks Scoutguy. Glad you got hooked. I should at GSS there as well. If the KTM is fixed by then (seems I say that a lot ).

Hey Desmorider....see above.

Yes, At least one friend.

Good luck with those boots.

And yes, but it wasn't Tequilla, it was Rum/Coke.

Not really. THIS is a smoking deal considering the upgrades and extras.

And it is local. It is done right.

I paid $3900 for mine with only 4k miles on the chassis and half that on the motor. Mine is an '07 with an '08 motor.

I did have to have it shipped down from Michigan.

Moral of the story: hang around apriliaforum.com, and you can find a used one for $5k + $600 to ship from somewhere. The warranty doesn't mean if its been derestricted, and the bike is no faster than a DRZ (not to mention runs like ) if it hasn't.

DRZ holds a special place in my heart as it was the first bike I ever drug knee on.
