not really they just drive really long vehicles. If you notice the tractor is in his lane.
the are the dispatchers and trucking companys that send the drivers up that road with that size of a vehicle.

Wonder what the Aprilia looks like afterwards. The frameslider looks like it's doing it's job in the pic.

New way to turn your bike around. There is no longer a need to get off he bike and spin it on the kick stand.

The pics of the cruisers wrecking have to be photoshopped. I have talked to a lot of cruiser riders and cruiser riders don't wreck. That is why they don't wear gear.

Alot of truck drivers are but if the general population of cagers had to try to drive an 18 wheeler around town for 1 day they would change thier mind and be a little more respectful, just like most car drivers have no clue about motorcycle riders.

My dad told me about those truckers.

Those are stupid that either only know their GPS, see a short cut on a map or are victim to a stupid dispatcher that gives them a route for the above 2 reasons.

You do realise you can pull a tractor-trailer or back a tractor-trailer into a
spot you can't get out of....

They shouldn't even allow big rigs on the Dragon's Tail. Of course there are a lot of bike riders that should'nt be allowed either.
That place sucks. I'm glad I went there so, I can say I've been, but there are other roads, in that area and elsewhere that are MUCH better.

I was going to take my bike on our East Coast road trip and stop there for a few days but after talking to people that have been and reading up on it, the cons outweighed the pros.

I drove through some pretty cool roads in the Appalachains in Virginia while I was up there scouting possible riding roads, though. And there was very little traffic and the roads were well maintained.

If you want to ride the Dragon, due it during the week, preferably in the off season.

And if you do end up stopping there to ride, make sure and hit NC28 and the Cherahola Parkway.. Foothills Parkway is fun and close as well.

I'm never going there. That just looks like a tasty recipe for disaster.

didn't they finally ban trucks from going up that road?
