I had a fiero in 1984. It was cool looking and fun to drive. I lived in Detroit and at that time all other cars were rusting out pretty badly--the Fiero had a fiberglass body--no rust. It was my Corvett wannabe.......

The Pinto was the car that kept catching on fire...did I mention that I had one of those too.. Yikes what a track record!!

Engine fires were common in the 4-cylinder Fiero's. The six's were awesome. Just as Pontiac started to get it right, they stopped production. I think it was around 1988.
