Trails in the Heights?? Might need to man up and come out.

Looking at a cheap DRZ 250 for Sam Houston...looks like fun!

On Craigslist? If so I saw it too. Would be a good trail bike....yea there are some MTB trails in Studewood park and just across the street too...and there is always the jogging trails along buffalo bayou

There is also a pretty big area with trails off of TC Jester that's only accessible thru the bayou. I've only been at night and I don't remember how to get back in there but it was some sketchy trails on street tires!!

If you liked long way round, check out www.advrider.com Tons of blogs and trip reports for people doing round the world trips fer real, i.e. no support vehicles etc like Ewan.

Come over to the dirt section, there are a bunch of us that ride SHNF often, and also check out www.twtex.com You'll find all kinds of people who ride dual sports and dual sport rides in Texas although there isn't much around Houston.
