Man, dude I can relate to this. I love my family (wife and my daughters) but I just don't like working anymore just do it because I need to support them. Riding is the only time I feel really good. Growing old scares me wearing diapers and all my teeth falling out. Life is a trip.

Good luck on your decision.

ooh, I knew someone who used to say that...she wouldn't happen to be a blonde security guard/ex police officer with big would she? Cause if thats her, she's got children that are older than what you think she is.

For those of you currently unhappy with your situation, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
It may be painful, change usually is, but if you're truly unhappy about where you are in life / what you're doing, why not do something else?

And as far as "dying young"?
How do you think that will affect those around you; your family, wife, kids etc.
Even if you don't have kids, looking forward to dying is the cowards way out in my opinion.
Escapism isn't going to get you anywhere, heck it may have even helped to get you where you are now.

Believe me, I know all about change, some good, some bad. It's how you roll with the changes and take an active part in shaping / directing them that makes the difference.

My 2 cents.
