Take the job at Sprint. It's closer to home and it will give you some people skills (not that you don't have any already). They will also be flexible around school.

Don't take the job where you are driving all the time for easy work. You will hate going to work. Plus you will kill your car. If you do take it, sell me the miata, I won't put the miles on her and she will get a nice turbo instaled.

Finish school. Otherwise start looking for work in offshore. Roughnecks and rig hands work hard, but you make good money.

dude scrapp you just need to start looking at what you might wanna do and start putting in applications or post ur resume somewhere like monster. If you get a job to have the money for now doesnt mean you cant keep looking for another job while you have this one...something better comes along then take it.

just because you have a degree or get one, doesnt mean you are automatically guarnteed a position with some high paying firm.....

ie... my brother got his masters and it took him months and months and months to find a job, and he had to start as a temp till he got hired on...

i think you would be foolish to pass on a job

dotcom is right, a job's a job. Money's money. As long as it pays the bills, put food on the tables, and eliminate all debts or some, would be worth the taking. For now, having a job is good. Trust me, I HATE MY JOB. I've been busting tables for I don't know how long now, it's really tiresome. But hey, I'm single and don't plan to live that long, when I can't ride no more, then it's time for me to hit another dimension. LOL!
OK, heres the situation, you've got actually 3 options now.
option #1: work for the upholtery guy and just get paycheck to paycheck, ( that's if he's reputable ) and hopefully there's more to it like insurance, health, etc.

option #2 Work for SPRINT and earn hourly PLUS commission! And possibly do something on the side, LOL! I like this job better, by the way.

option #3: Wait tables. Fast cash. Depending on certain restaurants, no fast foods or low end restaurants. Italiano, or Steakhouse preferably. ie. Cheddars, Saltgrass, Olive Garden.

Anyways, these are cheap jobs. But like I say, they pay the bills.

Because I guess everyday it's just the same old bullshit. I've tried dead end jobs left and right, I'm just tired of everything. The only true love of my life is motorcycling. I love to ride. I'm kinda old you know. But I just love riding. I have a truck that I rarely drive, only if it's raining.
I'm a quick learner though. But I have nothing against anyone where I work, it's just frustrating sometimes when you have or HAD a girlfriend and she says that you're not getting anywhere in life. So, dotcom, I understand where SCRAPP's coming from. You know, and like I said, I don't want to grow too old and die, that just sucks, to have wrinkles and die old.

I guess all I want to do every time is ride. The people at my work says I'm obsessed with bikes. They just will never understand the feeling you get when you're riding. But that's just them. I've got lots of bills, bills, bills. Everyone's after me. But hey, I can only pay them one at a time. LOL!

so why do we have to go there? I'm not in a mood to disclose age. You need to learn to respect people. So who has the 16 year old mentality?

If that's you still learning how to walk, then I can understand where you're coming from. If you need a hand, I'll show you how.
