airhead + cage, perfect example.

this should be a perfect example for all you new riders, to know what your dealing with out there...

i am on the way home, on the feeder, i come up to a light. i notice the car beside me has left a full car length between it and the car ahead, so i move up and take the spot.

i notice the car in front of me, the gas cap door is wide open, i look on the trunk and the gas cap is sitting right there. what the , i did one good deed this week, why not another. so i move up closer, grab the cap, then i squeeze between the lanes up beside her.

she starts to pull up, and i tap on the back window as im moving up, trying to get her to stop. im thinking maybe the light turned green, but it didnt. i pulled right up beside her, and tapped on her window. she was oblivious.

she was a fairly cute college aged girl chatting away on her cell phone. she looked over and i guess she didnt see me pull up, cause she went like this: she was frozen like a deer in headlights, i tapped on her window again, i think she thought she was getting robbed or something! :laughing6

she rolls down the window, looking scared as ...and i hand her the gas cap. she looks around like an idiot and sees her gas cap door wide open (like im going to hand a random person someone elses gas cap, WTF?!? :dontknow: IDIOT!)

she just says "oh my ! thank you!"... i nodded, and pulled up from out of between the lanes. i should have motioned for her to hand me the cell phone, and when she gave it to me, i should have snapped it shut, and tossed it into her passenger seat...oh well. ill do that next time.

MORAL: WEAR YOUR GEAR! THESE AIRHEADS HAVE NO CLUE WHATS GOING ON AROUND THEM!

haha. Boy scout manuever. That is a great gesture, but I could see a paranoid person totally pulling a gun thinking they are getting car jacked. times we live in.

i know, right. murphys law would have a cop pull me over for lane splitting or something, even though i was just being a freindly and helpful guy (not to mention keeping gas caps from dangerously bouncing around the roadways. oh well. what are you gonna do... :dontknow:

I had some airhead highschool girl cut in front of me out of a driveway when i was about1-2 cars away. I just quickly moved to the next lane and pulled up next to her, and she just stared at me all scared like she knew what she did and I was gonna shoot her. If you know you did wrong, why do it?

Well, anyway I wasnt in the mood to flip her off or anything so I just grabbed lots of throttle right by her window and she jumped like 30 feet. even the car twitched the other way and she had this....weird turky look on her face, I couldnt explain it, but it was funny enough for me.
