Who all works for Cingular?

I need help.
My phone is I have a Motorola flip phone and it drops calls or does not get a good connection everytime I use it.
I want to trade it in on a new phone but our contract isn't up for another 6 months.
Can someone help? or should I just pay to buy out of this contract and go with another provider? :eh:

with 6 months left....it's not worth paying for cancellation. you can always find an area that doesn't cover cingular....and say you are moving there. that helped me get outta a few contracts.

I had motorola phones that dropped calls all the time. I finally got away from them and the dropped calls stopped. I got a blackberry and loved it. I moved up to a treo and it beats all.

Most of the phones I have cannot keep up with my lifestyle.
I either A. Break them or B. they fall apart.
I need something rugged.
I like the Nextel phones that look durable.

swift i actually went to nextel for the same reason, a durable phone, but I went right back to tmobile, nextels service sucks too much to justify a decent phone.

sidekick! I hurl mine at the wall all the time when I get upset with people, it still loves me!

Ok im just kidding, but it does take a serious beating. acidentally dropped it and bumped it up a few times.

Plus nothing beats arguing with people over AIM when you out eating at a reasturant

Not to be a , but if you are fighting with dropped calls why would you get another motorola? They look different, but they use the same programing.

What happen to it?

Also, is there a way to get the phone at a renewal price before the renewal date?

I have an antena (short but it's there) on the phone I have now and I think I've broke the internals on it from being in my jacket and pocket etc...
The one above has nothing external to break. But, you are right.

motorola phones suuuuuuck. I've had 3 different models and they all sucked . I have a friend who's an engineer for Moto and even HE says they suck. No, he doesn't design the phones.

I have the SLVR and I've dropped it alot and it still works good, but the thing I hate is unless you lock the key pad, you always end up dialing someone when you don't mean too. I was in Canada and accidentaly called a co-worker down here and got a nice bill for 15 min conversation I didn't even know I was having...lol Otherwise it's been good!
