Angry R6 2010 Blinker indicator is messed up

When I am driving(only) at higher speeds my blinker indicator light flickers.

I went to Yamaha (only because my bike is under warranty) and after screaming/yelling at them because they charged me $75 to look at my bike for less than 20 minutes. They said I need to change out my right blinker because it was bad.

I changed out the blinker last night AND GUESSSSS WHAT THE FREAKING THING IS STILL DOING IT!!!!!!!!

SHITTY!!!!!!!!
AND I am not very patient when it comes to my bike messing up!!!

Has anyone had this happen to their bike?!!? What should I do now?!?!

Get a Honda.

Seriously, though, something touching or losing contact somewhere. You are gonna have to start wiggling wires and the light itself til you find what it is.

Did you check the fuses, make sure they are all seated well and not corroded?

See, thats what I thought was the problem at first. You gotta start with the obvious then back track.

First: No Honda?Check.

Second:Yamaha? OH, we found the problem.

The blinker is fine if you just make right turns when ever it turns on.

Seriously now, there is a turn light regulator (not sure about the name though, its a black cube with three connections I think) that makes the blinker, ehm, blink. First make sure it looks OK and its well connected (it by my fuses in my bike). Perhaps replace that and if problem continues return it.

Also check the switch to make sure it doesn't short circuit the right blinkers. BTW is it just the front blinker or both front AND rear blinker light up when the problem happens?

Have you checked the blinker fluid? If it's low they will flicker...

Surprised no one else has mentioned it... especially Bevo!

Have we excluded the possibility the bike is trying to say something in MORSE code?

I just took it to yamaha... they are they ones who told me my blinker was bad... thats why i replaced it. I notice that it I maintain a speed the light does not flicker... If I am increasing quickly on the throttle if flickers... when i stop increasing it will stop flickering. BUT if I unplug my right blinker it does not flicker at all.

I am not sure if it actually is blinking when I am riding because I can't see it lol..
