motorcycle endurance riding

Dale Folwell returned home Sunday morning to Ardmore United Methodist Church where 250 family, friends and donors welcomed him as a new world record holder in motorcycle endurance riding. Dale successfully completed his quest to break the record of 30,450 miles in 30 days touching all 48 contiguous states by riding a mind-boggling (the Iron Association might question our anatomical reference?) 32,978 miles in 30 days!

WOW :notworthy

that is alot of seat time. What kind of bike was it? I am gonna have to try to break that one of these day. I figured average 100mph for 12 hours per day should break this record easily.

No wonder he could travel that kind of distance for short period of time.
If I could get a dollar for every mile travelled I could close my business and try to do it.

I'd rather go with a BMW R1200GSA, but I'm a little off-kilter.
Way to go, and for a good cause!

I'm thinking of getting my SS1000 certification soon... Already done a 700+ mile day and it wasn't that bad. Stayed off most freeways, too.
