frame sliders...

ok so im looking at some frame sliders... how long are typical frame sliders? found some 'extended' 4in ones on ebay... any cons about having longer ones?... i would only assume they are 'better' so it hits sooner then any body parts would...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EXTEN...mZ280035630015

anyone got any suggestions on any brand or seen any 'on sale'?

dont wanna pay for overpriced name brand ... but dont want to buy '' either...

was also thinkin about getting the 'flame sliders' that diamond powersports makes... and doing away with my front signals...

+1 on what Ant said. Plus extended frame slders apply more leverage to the mounting point, breaking off the ears.
What year GSXR do you have?
