tire pressure

how big of a difference does 15-20psi vs. 35psi make for 1st gear wheelies around 30-40mph?

do you guys actually ride on the street with tire pressure that low or just trailor your stunt bikes around all the time?

thanks,
jacob

if ur doin 1st gear whoolies u should be tryin to get them on idle and not goin 30-40 mph and i had mine at like 20 psi and jsut kept it liek that for street and parkin lot ...for slow wheelies its a whole lot easier when u got really low tire pressure

1st gear wheelies at 30-40 is a bit fast....you should be at 2nd gear with that. 1st gear wheelies will loop you before you know it.

no... i'm just learning to wheelie on my 600 so i'm starting with first gear b/c it's easier for me to pick it up that way... i'd like to get it up at a slower speed but i have yet to be able to control it that well... every time i get the front up it seems like i'm at least up to 10k rpm...

but my idle is factory... 1200-1300rpm.

thats kinda a high idle my idle is at 400-500 99.9% of the time and my tire pressure is alway low even on the street drawback the tires wear so much faster and the bike doesnt like to tuck into corners plus the bike has to work harder to keep a constant speed id keep the pressure up i have mine low for traction but just recently air it up to about 26 cuz my rim and it makes a huge differrence dont have to use so much rpm to get it up or keep it up plus alot easier to turn while in the air.
