Some Crazy t happened to me Friday Nite

On friday i got home from the movies and went straight to bed cause i was waking up early to go fishing. Well i went to bed about 12 and woke up at about 2 with my arm stinging like a bish! I thought maybe i slaped my arm in my sleep or something but it hurt way too much for that, so i figured maybe i got bite by a spider or something so i grabed this little lamp in my room and started looking through the sheets and i didnt see anything so i was like ahh ill just go back to sleep, but my arm was still stinging really f*in bad so i flipped my pillow and i saw the last thing i thought it would be! It was a Scorpion:confused1 ! Talk about scare the outta you! I just felt i needed to share this! Anyone had ne thing similar happen to them???

I live somewhat in the country, all the houses are like on 2 acre plots, but its not uncommon to see a horse go through my back yard!

I've killed two scorpions in my garage but not in my house yet. They are hard to spot, they are so translucent.

you dont have to be afraid of corals they are the most shy of all the snakes around here..... you just dont want to step on one bare footed...

i also wouldnt think bark scorpions run in pairs because they can be cannibals

if you guys ever run into any other scorps you shuold let me know ill buy them from you if you catch them...

Despite their bad reputation, only one species in the western U.S. (the bark scorpion, Centruroides exilicauda) and about 25 others worldwide have venom potent enough to be considered dangerous to humans.

The venom of the bark scorpion may produce severe pain (but rarely swelling) at the site of the sting, numbness, frothing at the mouth, difficulties in breathing (including respiratory paralysis), muscle twitching, and convulsions. Death is rare, especially in more recent times. Antivenin is available for severe cases. Certain people, however, may be allergic to the venom and can experience life-threatening side effects when stung (as occurs with bee stings). No cases of anaphylaxis have been reported in Arizona. Additional information can be found in Venomous Animals of Arizona by Bob Smith.

i got it from the site you gave.... though venomous they rarely cause death.. and the sting would be compared to a common bee sting.... which also can cause the same symptoms above...

seems like JHOPS is fine and dandy to me lol
