Clutch Issues

So i just got a 95 zy 125. The clutch boss was no good so i ordered a new one. cleaned and soaked the old fibers, got everything back together the clutch wont disengage. I feel as if the push rod is to long, by the time i get all the slack out of it. Its butting against the cover. Ive gone over the micro fische 100 times and I have everything where it is supposed to be. I dont have a manual, so i may be doing something wrong. Hopefully im just doing something wrong...lol
