Thank you.

Not to rub it in, but when you look outside the government box, you're able to see all manner of solutions.

Government is NOT the solution to most problems. Arguably, it is the cause of most of them.

I'm going to see if Godsuki will offer a helmetless track day. I encourage you and all freedom fighters to sign up and participate.

Holy ...you're joking, right? I mean seriously...

We don't want the gov't telling us what to do because we don't need them to and it isn't their place to do so.

I don't eat fried chicken, but I would be very opposed to the gov't banning it because it turns lazy people into fat slobs with heart problems. If you as an adult think that the risk of be coming a fat for eating a bucket of chicken is worth it, then have at it. Same with a helmet. If they proposed legislation to ban motorcycles completely, citing the same reasons you (and others in this thread) have, would you support it? How would you feel if the majority of the population just said "Well, we don't ride motorcycles anyway, what do I care?" Just because you and I know it's a good idea and WANT to wear our helmets (regardless of whether there is a law for it or not), doesn't mean we should be able to FORCE others to wear a helmet that may otherwise want to. Same as we can't force people to stop riding motorcycles or eating fried chicken. It's a choice, and the person making that choice is the one who has to deal with the resultant consequences.

And you're just the one to make that decision for them, huh?

The same guy who was going to leave the lid at home so all the "ladies" he might see on the seawall could worship his manly visage as he thundered by on his mighty 250cc powered steed...

The same guy who thought he was SOOOOOO important that he just HAD to be recognized as he flashed by at 30mph by anyone who just might know him...

man - not only are you pretty self-obsessed, but you're stupid too.
