Almost every single Harley rider I saw this weeekend waved hi and smiled.

This whole road trip I saw a lot of Harleys and almost every single one gave me a nice wave as they passed. Everyone from the grey bearded old guys to the patches. Ran into a lot of super nice Harley people this time out. A huge change from my road trip last week and run-ins with the last group of Harley guys.

I was just starting to really hate bikers after almost being killed by some but this totally made me realize how dumb I was for generalizing everyone for the actions of a few.

I forget how once you get out into the back country, people are a lot friendlier than the city folks.

you know, you probably could have squeezed these threads into one...

"Had a great trip, ran out of gas but ended up being a blessing because I met a nice couple that hepled me get gas and it turned out myself and the guy had something in common. While at a rest stop I ran into a really awesome dog that was abondoned by a POS . Wish I could have taken him with me. Everything was awesome, even every harley rider I saw waved back at me and made me feel all fluffy inside. The End." -eltejano

I wave at every bike I see even if they aren't a fellow Harley rider. Just not so sure what to do when a scooter rides by.

kinda sounds like you're generalizing country and city folk. just saying. I'd help you out if you ran out of gas and I'm city folk.

You are right, BUT there seem to be a lot more friendly people out in the country than in the cities. I think just living in cities makes people less friendly.

I didn't even bother waving, I thought it would be dangerous to old your arm out to a line of 100 bikes. That's a good 10 minutes with one hand of the bars lol

I did a forest ride this weekend and I had a lot of Harley riders that waived as well. And for the ones that were too good to wave... Switch from the peace sign down to the bird pointing ^
