I have a sealed battery myself in my v-max. Doing a comparison on stock compared to the sealed have found the same size battery but actually the one i have puts out more cranking amps and so far have had about 3 years or so with no problems. It was also abit more cheaper than a OEM from a stealer.
I found a sealed battery for a bud on a 03 cbr600rr that his stock battery died on him.
Dealer wanted over i think $125+ for stock i found a sealed battery for i think $75 to his door. we installed and works great.
I have found that with acid batteries, if u kill it once. it is done. yes u can re-charge but it is never the same.
Also tha pain of acid batteries that u have to install the acid and charge overnight. selaed batteries are ready to go.
U can cross referance just about any battery from acid to sealed.
Yes u can get walmarts batteries and just keep trading in for a new one. all in what u want to do
as always my 02.
