No easy way around it

Suzuki really screwed us when they put the cat on the gixxers> Just sayin. No freakin easy way around it. Guess im ordering a full system!

I thought 06/07 600/750 headers would work on 08+ gsxrs 600/750's? Thought that was a common thing. Or just cut it off and put on a slip-on

Im sure the headers are dirt cheap used. Buy one and try it. There are a lot of similarites between those years (06/07 & 08+) BTW

gen 2 busa got a cat as well ,,

you can take it to a good exhaust shop and they can cut it out, run you some pipe! should not be to much !

Like the guys above said.....the 06/07 headers bolt on and then you just use a slip on for those years. i want to say you can get the stock headers for like $50 on ebay too

Grinder and a cut off wheel. If you cut it as close to the weld as possible there is enough room for an 06-07 slip on to clamp on what remains. has to up tight against the o2 sensor penetration if I remember correctly. Had an 08 600 that I ran that way just fine. no leaks no issues. though a power commander would have been nice to help with the mixture a bit.
