Your paint job kicks . I saw it while corner working last time at TWS (Texas World Speedway). How did you get the small stripes on top? Just taped it off and painted?

What level are you instructing?

Yep, second time with it at the track since the rebuild. I was able to get some instruction from Tom Anderson at the last TWS (Texas World Speedway) LSTD event and it really helped. I am not as fast as I was running when I crashed last year, but I am getting more comfortable on it, so hopefully the speed will come.

Still much more comfortable on a tard, but I want to try to get where I can run a 2:00 lap. When I crashed last year, I had run some 2:06's per my timer. I know that is not "fast guy" fast, but it is my target. For a fat 40 year old, I'd be happy if I can run a 2:00.

I used to run 2:13's on my old Speed Triple with horrible suspension. Obviously I have some mental blocks to overcome.

Hope find my testicles again while riding this thing. They seem to go away when I get on this biotch.

You coming on your 10?

Sweet. I had a friend take pics of your bike last time at TWS (Texas World Speedway)...I believe he talked to you for a bit. I have a 09 as well and want to try painting it myself. I want it to look like this:

Yeah he did. LOL yes that is a lot of tape. Just a tip, do all the tracing with pin stripes, there is a blue 3m speciallly made for that, get the 1/8 of an inch, after that you can use the regular blue tape with painters paper. Painters blue paint doesn't do a very good job when tracing lines and the paint may run underneat.

Yea...I don't have photoshop and I'm too cheap to pay someone to do it (and would feel bad to ask someone to do it for free). And I have lots of painters tape. Took me about 2 hours. Then when I asked what people thought...the responses were all "keep the tape on it, it looks good!" haha.

Thanks for the tip! I'll be on the lookout for that stuff. Can you get it at Home Depot / Lowe's...or an auto parts store? I was afraid of bleed through so its good to know they have stuff designed specifically for it. Any tips for keeping it straight?

Not sure if they sell them at Lowes or Home depot but they sell them at any Car Paint shop. To keep it straight is just practice, measuring tape, practice, measuring tape.
