rider downed and not wearing a helmet

just heard on scanner
dickinson bayou and hwy 146, 45 yr old male, head lacerations, breathing but unconscious, no helmet.

I wish like they would come out with a line of full faced helmets that actually looked right for riders on cruisers. I bet it would make a difference, at least for some. Of course that means I am assuming this guy was on a cruiser.

Yeah, but so many don't have the same order of priorities that you do, and taxpayers have to pay the medical bills for many....

I'm taking the under... Actually, it's been a pretty good weekend considering... So far... 3 dead with another who's still "alive" albeit brain-dead. The most severe occured last night with the rider and his passenger being killed.

All were not wearing a helmet.

I think that a lot of people just want to live their lives with as much freedom as possible, especially in the MC world, but just don't get the concept of trying to reduce the risks of taking risks...

very true.... but a helmet law would go further to correcting that problem more so than a "cooler" looking full face
