Exclamation Guy trying to sell MY bike on CL may be in houston are!!

This guy owes me money on the purchase of my GSXR 600. We considered him a friend and now only 2 weeks into the deal he disapears to houston and post up a CL ad with my bike for more than he bought it for "with out a title". I told him he could probably turn a profit on the bike, so I wasn't too worried until I saw the part about "no title" and realized he had copied and pasted my original posting. Every time I trust someone I get burned so this may be an overreaction but I you see this bike PLEASE tell him to call me before I take any recovery steps.

UPDATE I GOT THAT MOTHER@#$@ lol the dumbass had it parked in his driveway no ignition lock nothing I just pushed it to the corner where me and my buddy put it in my truck. Then I went back up to the house knocked on the door where a lady just kept apologizing for"whatever he did" lol. I love it when it's that easy. Well anyone want to buy a bike?

You found him, drove to Houston and got it back within 2 hours of the original post?

Now that's some detective work!

No it wasn't in houston. He told me he was heading to houston this weekend when I asked him if he could bring it to the ROT rally. I called people who knew him and got the name of the neighborhood then we drove around and saw a couple of guys chilling on a tailgate and asked where the LOUD gsxr was. I told them what was up and they drove me to the house where it was parked out front.

I don't play.

When you own a shop in a town for 3 years you have lots of friends. Plus everyone in Austin who knows me knows I built that bike and frankly it's one of a kind.

Oh man I think I would have been more if he would have done that with my tools.

Had I been looking for bin laden as hard as I was looking for my bike we could have avoided so much trouble in the middle east.

As much as i hate thieves and people who do not pay their own debt, it's sometimes hard for me to feel bad for people who do not take the necessary steps in protecting themselves whether that be offering someone owner financing or not getting insurance or even theft on their bike. Anyhow i'm glad you got your bike back, hopefully this is a lesson learned for everyone.

You calling what happened fishy is a.k.a. calling "B.S.", and I don't know anyone who likes to be called a liar. Plus this is a public response to a private message so that lets me know you want the whole forum to know how you feel. And that "buddy" is BS. Thanks but no thanks for the drama.
