There is nothing wrong with buying new as long as u know the true value and the avg asking price in the area. Of course they want to make money off of u,I would too if I were the salesman. I recently bought a motard brand new and walked out with a decent price. Had them moving #s around to make it seem like I was paying thief extra fees. I went in with no money down too. Paid 2k less than what they were initially asking for...
I tried to get him to throw in some things like an alarm, sliders, and helmet...but I was just so uncomfortable with that price...it just looked so disgusting on paper lol ...but no money down and 2k less sounds like a deal!

asking for freight is a hoax to begin with...but $1500 LOL!

asking that much is logical though if you just want money and have no ethics...even if one guy out of ten swallows that load of the salesmen has made good commision.

And I got my SV for $2300 with 13k miles; it's lasted three years and 30k+ more miles, been through a highside (thanks to my cousin), and is still going strong! Of course, there's nothing wrong with new, but try not to finance!
