Being NYC, even if this was your bike and you saw it, there is NOTHING you can do about it.

Call the cops and they take a few hours to show up if they decide to show up at all for a bike. You cant go confront them cause you are outnumbered and they will just probably kill you. You cant own a gun to defend yourself cause itws illegal to have a gun in NY.

So, was the bike actually stolen? One dude rides it, only to turn around, and drop it back at the tree.

I guess after test riding it, it wasnt worth it's weight in thievery.

He was too lazy to pedal. There was no more interest in it after the criminal activity was done. It seems to be a genetic thing. It's like fight or flight.
