Interesting responses. I have only been riding four years and this was the first time that I didn't want to ride.

I can honestly say that I haven't gotten to this point yet. Yes, I can get fatigued and be ready to head home to shower and relax after a long, taxing ride. But to be just not want to ride...I've NEVER been there. And I have been riding over 25 years.

Happened to me a couple weeks ago. We were halfway to Austin riding back roads and I just wanted to turn around and go home so I could crawl back in bed. Was pretty tired for some reason. First time that has happened.

Normally I ride to work everyday and you would think going to work you don't want to go but I like to ride so I don't mind going to work.

You did look tired. I thought maybe it was because of the drinking the night before. Hard to ride on a hangover
I have only lost interest one time and that was because of a kid that rode myself and a friend was killed on his bike before Christmas. I found out when my buddy & myself were gearing up and I just lost it.

it happens to me now and then but not often. its usually a frustration thing. often caused by lots of little things going wrong.
neighbor mowing while im trying to sleep in.
someone left half a bowl of cereal in the box...
it ill have a half bowl.......milks bad.
ill skip breakfast then. go outside for fresh air. stub toe.
air outside is rank cause someone is burning something.
gets hot inside. AC is broken...guy cant come till monday.

screw this...im going riding!

soccor mom doesnt see me...about runs me over.

park bike. give up on day.

if im destined to have a bad day...i dont want it to be on the bike.

Happens to me every now and then. I always go with my gut. If I am not in to it i just assume there is a cosmic reason for it that I will not argue with. The way I see it if you are not in to it then neither is your mind. ...and you need that.

I haven't ridden since the last trackday @ Ride Smart TWS (Texas World Speedway) Memorial Day until yesterday...I finally decided to take the painter's tape off and put the mirrors back on to go for a ride in full leathers for a 3-4 hours. Before yesterday, I got fed up with the traffic, cops, heat and other nonsense. Sometimes, you gotta just go to go...know what I mean? As you know from my Facebook, I coordinate my riding schedule with The Deelish so it is purposeful and calculated. Maybe you just need some structure to your travels? I can suggest much deelish if needed

Probably had to do with drinking and lack of sleep, but I don't really get hangovers... I was tired.

I think I'll still blame Bevo.
