Nah I'd keep the 636. It's worth a lot more to me than it would be to other people. I've REALLY wanted a Streetfighter S for a while but the sensible side of me will probably end up buying a used Z1000 or something less than 5k. If I end up really liking nakeds then maybe a year or so after I'll see about the Duc.

The ONLY downside is the fuel tank size. I can only get about 120 miles or so before i have to fill up. I expected more MPG but it's all good, I didn't buy it to take on trips.

I was in the market for the M1100s, the Streetfighter and the Hypermotard.

The Motard is comfy as , and I'm sure it's fun but it's still a motard and the gas tank was even smaller than the Monster. The streetfight is a 1198 with no fairings. Uncomfortable for every day city riding and the clutch pull is SUPER stiff.

Best of luck. Duc's are lovely
Forgot to ask you, are the new Monsters air cooled? Didn't it used to be liquid cooled? Do you have any problems with you bike in the heat...maybe at stop and go traffic?

Ok so i decided to just get a used 848. Let me know if anyone find one. The only one I've found so far, that's decent, is in Alabama.

sport classic is a tough one, great bike, but good luck finding one. I took me 2 months and 600 miles to find mine.
