2006 Honda CBR 1000rr tech question

Hey for the guys who have an 06 1000rr, is there a ticking noise when it is running???? Mine does but i just want to know if it is normal. I know theres suppose to be vavle noise and stuff but there is just a noticable tick. Oil pump or something? I am not sure.. thats why i am askin.

more than likely its just a lil valve noise. it could be injectors as well, i have an 05 and hear a lil valve noise when it gets warm

no ticking on my end....i can hear a slight ticking from the chain when rolling....but nothing at idle

yeah i get a lil chain noise.. i need to tighten it up a notch and lube it. i notice when i dont lube my chain very often it makes more ticking/slappin sounds

My '04 1krr used to tick, and I hear it's a common thing. I think it has something to do with the rocker arms. Nothing to worry about, just an annoyance.

+1 what Witch said, the 1000RR injectors are noisy, particularly below 4-5000 rpm.
Should be nothing to worry about. If you're still concerned about it, ride it by and I'll listen to it for you, no charge.
