Saturday June 11, 2011 Forest Ride To Yankees

CANCELED!!!

Looking to do a nice ride through National Forest and up to Yankees for lunch.

Meet Spot: Shell/McDonald's FM242 @ I45N
Time: 8:15 AM
Short Rider Meeting: 8:45 AM
KSU: 9:00 AM SHARP!


The pace will be spirited, but safe and enjoyable. No one wants trouble with the Po-Pos

Anyone with the minimum gear requirements is welcome.

Helmet
Jacket
Gloves
Boots
Knee/Shin Protection
Jeans or Riding Pants
Proper registration/inspection/MC endorsement

Rules:
1. Fill up upon arrival to meet spot.
2. Ride safe and within YOUR comfort zone.
3. No one left behind. We will wait at the end of each stretch or at any turn-offs so that no one gets lost.

You have a map of the route u r going to take?? Cypress is about 30 miles from 242 & 45..so, was thinking that i might catch you guys somewhere further up north..Also hoping no bicycle gangs out there..

Awwww, don't give me that, Jimmy. I ride from Humble wayyyy out to Cypress all the time. It's your turn...

I'll try PMing the route to you, but pretty basic...1488 to Honea Egypt over to 149 to 90 to 3090 to 244 (Yankees).

NO route posting.....
1.) LEO's will read the post and wait
2.) Don't need people that didn't start the ride joining mid-way through (accountability issue)

If you need it PM the person(s) familiar with the route and they should help you out.
