mc clubs(Regulators Cypress)

Im new to the area and was out on a early sun morning ride through montgomery county. Stopped at a gas station to have a water, when a group of bikes pulled in wearing Regulators(cypress) vests. My 1st thought was here we go a bunch of wanna be thug posers. They parked all around my bike but to my surprise they seemed pretty cool they asked where i was from. I explained i was from ohio and was new to tx and really was just searching for some twisty roads to ride. They invited me to ride with them, said they could show me some decent roads. They road a good pace 80 to 130ish, best ride ive been on since i moved here. So i just wanna say my view of mc clubs has changed, not saying im looking to join one anytime soon but the Regulators (cypress) seem like some stand up guys who just like to ride. So props to the Regulators for opening my eyes that not all mc clubs are wanna be gangsters and some even remember that mc clubs are suppose to be about riding and motorcycles.

I have never had the desire to join a mc club and I would be hesitant to join one with hand guns in their logo...

Ok - understand the lack of a desire to join one, but wtf is the problem with having guns on the patch? Especially considering the name of the club...

Really?
The guy wants to give props to a group who invited him to go ride with them and you want to talk about their colors.

MOST clubs are not wannabe gangsters. Most of them are some of the coolest people you'll meet and will be more than happy to invite you along.

Welcome to Houston!

Haha...NICE!!
I used to know a lot of the riders in the "Gypsies" and guess what...they all owned homes and had straight jobs. None were actually a "gypsy". It's a club name, logo, etc... Chill.
Sounds like a typical experience meeting a group of club riders from my experience also.
Nice post and well deserved after a lot of club bashing going on lately.

Shame you didn't ride with us on the Forest Ride I held on Saturday. I hope you can join us sometime.
Props for the regulators for welcoming you and you riding with them. Not all MC clubs are douches.
