Hyosung

Has anybody else seen one of their 250's in real life? I saw one today parked outside my school by the metro station and I was actually impressed with how it looked for a 250. I'm not interested in buying one (unless the wife wants one), but does anybody know about the quality/reliability of these bikes?

you sure it wasnt the 650? I didint know the 250 came out yet.

be prepared to NOT find parts. or be the person who has to cross reference other parts to see what will work, or wait for someone else to waste their time doing that.

Ive ridden one, they are fun to ride and it can give a 600 in corners if you can ride them right. It felt solid, and didnt feel like it'd fall apart on me, I'd trade my ninja250 for one.

My co-workers and I were checking out a Hyosung the other day. It was actually pretty laughable. The welds looked as if a third grader had done them. Sorry - but I will stick to Japanese or Italian products for performance. Hyosung has been around for awhile.... and they still aren't close.

As far as the welds on the Hysoungs, compare a Honda's welds to those on ANY Suzuki and you'll say the same thing. Zook's welds are laughable too bro

A good freind of mine living in KL has had one for almost a year now, it's got the SV650 motor in it. He's done everything from 100 mile tours to a couple of trackdays at Sepang on it. The bike has actually done quite well with no problems to speak of, and has fully adjustable suspension to boot.

No, the welds aren't the "prettiest" in the world. Some of you guys that were around bikes in the '60s, '70, and even early '80s, will back me up when I say that the welds on the bikes from the big four were very pretty either.
