black cbr1000rr '08 stolen

My friend's cbr1000rr was stolen from a garage at an apartment complex close to the galleria, at the southeast corner of 59/610. The chain that it was tied to was cut through. I think it happened this evening, definetely today (he is out of town, gf and my guess).

It is black, 2008, limited edition, and the left tailight is broken/dangling. Some scratches/dents on the lower left fairing.

The VIN number is JH2SC59478M000138
The plate # is ... (will update)

If you can keep an eye out and get tips, call or pm 817 980 3386
Thanks

I've bought bikes with lost titles, it's really easy to check a vin and make sure a vehicle hasn't been stolen or totaled. As easy as a google search in fact. The point is whether or not he'll give up the vin before you're there looking at it. If he's reluctant to give up the vin then it's likely a stolen bike.
